Mission

Get to Know Us

Our mission is to get our clients back to basics in Nature!

Have you ever had a shore lunch, been out fishing and stopped to swim at an uncharted beach, camped overnight with the bare necessities?

If not these escapes are for you. Did you once fish often and throughout the years just let it slip away?

If so these escapes are for you. Has your family forgot what it is to be  family in these days of internet and quick fixes?

If so, guess what, these escapes are for you all!

And if you just need a day or two to unplug and unwind from city life, you got it!

These adventures are for you!!  There is a requirement though and it is very simple.

Requirement: sense of adventure and a thirst for knowledge

Justin Lewis

Trailblazer & Guide
Owner
My name is Justin and I have 10+ years experience living off the land, fishing & hunting the Northern Wilds and it’s time to bring that knowledge to you! Last year was my first visit to Lac McGillivray and I fell in love with the location, the feel, and the fishing! I had to create something here. I have left my job of 12 years to bring to you some of the most fantastic off-grid camping!
I had to share my favorite winter past time with you as well. I have been ice fishing in the Ottawa Valley since I was knee high to a grasshopper and knew that the Muskrat Lake was optimal to bring a fun and exciting ice fishing experience to my clients! Many people want to try ice fishing or are experienced but don't have their own ice shacks, so we saw a need and we filled it!
